GREASE Sing-Along Set for MCCC's Kelsey Theatre, 8/8-9

It's time to throw on your pink poodle skirts and black leather jackets and cruise on over to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre for "Grease The Movie Sing-Along." Theater To Go presents an entertaining, interactive viewing of the classic movie musical and you're invited to join in the fun!

The joint gets hoppin' on Saturday, August 8 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 9 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

The 1978 movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John never gets old. And what better time to enjoy it again than on one of those "Hot Summer Nights!" The lively crew from Theater To Go will invite audience members to come up on stage and show off their best hand jive, win prizes in the trivia contest, and of course sing along to the unforgettable Grease soundtrack. And everyone gets a goodie bag full of interactive items to fully participate in the experience.

Founded by Ruth Markoe in 1992, Theater To Go is best known for audience participation murder mysteries and interactive comedy shows. More recently, the company has added movie sing-alongs that give fans a collective viewing experience, complete with participatory props and a master of ceremonies. In addition to Grease, Theater To Go has presented sing-alongs to The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Annie, Mamma Mia and Frozen.

Tickets for the "Grease the Movie Sing-Along" are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, and $14 for students and children. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking available next to the theater.
