FDU Theatre to Stage LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL This Spring
Students from Fairleigh Dickinson University's Visual and Performing Arts Department will be participating in the upcoming production, Legally Blonde, March 24-April 2 under the direction of Cindy Thole.
Oh Mi God you guys! Based on the 2001 film, this fun and fabulous feel-good musical comedy is a valuable reminder that being yourself never goes out of style. UCLA Cheerleader, and Delta Nu President, Elle Woods doesn't take no for an answer. So when her college boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone "serious", Elle says goodbye to fabulous California, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School to get him back!
With music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach, Legally Blonde is an energizing gift of musical enjoyment, wrapped up with a pink bow. The verdict? This much fun shouldn't be legal!
The show features 34 Fairleigh Dickinson University student performers ranging from Freshman to Seniors. The production will take place in the Dreyfuss Theater located on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, College at Florham. The opening performance will take place on March 24 at 8:00 p.m.
