Chris Newcomer, who audiences may recall seeing in the Eagle Theatre's production of Chicago in October of 2011, recently garnered attention for successfully landing the role of Mary Sunshine in the Ambassador Theatre's Chicago. This role, which is the same one that Newcomer played while performing at the Eagle Theatre, is Newcomer's first Broadway credit.

Newcomer thrilled regional audiences last October when the countertenor took to the Eagle Theatre stage for the critically-acclaimed production of Chicago.

Newcomer will perform at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City through August 12 while the regular actor is on a vacation break.
