Eagle Theatre to Welcome Cast of 24 for FOOTLOOSE, Running 1/17-2/8

By:

Bringing in 24 actors from Delaware to New York, the Eagle Theatre of Hammonton, N.J., will launch the 2014 Season with its largest cast yet when "Footloose" opens on January 17.

"When it comes to assembling a cast, we search in all directions in an effort to bring our patrons the very best. We're also ecstatic to have one again brought in the incomparable Dann Dun to give them direction," said Ed Corsi, co-artistic director.

Internationally renowned director/choreographer Dann Dunn will serve as guest director for "Footloose." From touring with "CATS" to working on "Miracle on 34th Street" at Madison Square Garden, Dunn has garnered a reputation for uniting fluid direction with charismatic choreography. He has also worked with numerous regional theatres, including the Walnut Street Theatre, Media Theatre and Arden Theatre Co.

The Eagle Theatre also begins its partnership with the Actors' Equity Association this year. "Footloose" will feature Cara Noel Antosca, who plays Ariel, as the theatre's first Equity actor under contract.

"Cara Noel Antosca is a vivacious and charismatic actress with a long career ahead of her. Her energy in the rehearsal room is as infectious as her performance on stage. We are proud to present Cara Noel Antosca," said Ted Wioncek III, co-artistic director.

The Eagle Theatre's next production is "Footloose," which runs from Jan. 17 to Feb. 8. Performances will take place on Jan. 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, Feb. 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m., and Jan. 19, 26 and Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30 for General Admission and $40 for VIP seating. Tickets can be purchased at www.TheEagleTheatre.com. For more information, please contact the box office at (609) 704-5012.
