Bees Deluxe to Return to The Lizzie Rose Music Room for Modern Blues Night
The British-American band, led by guitarist Conrad Warre, performs at the Tuckerton, NJ listening room.
Award-winning British-American blues innovators Bees Deluxe are set to return to The Lizzie Rose Music Room on Friday July 31st at 8:00 PM.
Bees Deluxe draws inspiration from classic blues legends such as Etta James, Bobby "Blue" Bland, and Otis Rush, while embracing the influence of modern masters including Robert Cray, Jimi Hendrix, and ZZ Top.
Touring relentlessly from Maine to Miami and as far west as the Cleveland House of Blues, the Boston-based quartet has become a fixture at premier venues throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including Daryl's House Club, Black Eyed Sally's, The Bull Run, Boston City Winery, and, of course, The Lizzie Rose Music Room.
Opening the evening will be Eclipse, a New Jersey Shore-based progressive jazz fusion ensemble known for its eclectic blend of influences and adventurous musicianship. Featuring a collection of talented regional players, Eclipse's original compositions and dynamic performances make them a fitting complement to Bees Deluxe's genre-crossing approach.
For guitarist and bandleader Conrad Warre, returning to The Lizzie Rose Music Room is always a special occasion.
"It feels like home to us," says Warre. "We've made so many friends there over the years, and we always look forward to coming back. The audiences really listen, and the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else."
