This stunning performance showcases Bowers' remarkable talents. We suggest you get your tickets now. There are only 4 shows left through this Sunday, April 19th.

Beyond Words is enjoying its New Jersey premiere. The show is written by Bowers and developed with Scott Illingworth and also directed by Illingworth. It is a completely entertaining mix of music, monologues and mime. The 90-minute show goes by in a flash. You will be captivated by each and every moment of Bowers' delivery. He is truly a master storyteller.

Bowers starts Beyond Words with the question, "What is a boy." With a few simple props, he reconstructs moments of his own childhood, adolescence, adult adventures and misadventures. The show has true heart and just the right dose of humor. Bowers will bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye. From his first real job at a local salad bar to a recent stint as the visiting artist in Choteau, Montana, you will have the privledge of sharing his fascinating life's journey.

Bowers also thoughtfully integrates in his discourse important stories like the tale of Adolph Myers from the book, Winesburg Ohio and the real-life tragedy of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. These pieces round out the presentation adding to the relevance of Beyond Words.

You will deeply admire Bowers as he makes a personal investigation of gender roles in modern society. Bowers has a grand finale to Beyond Words, proving that he is always learning, always growing. See this important piece of theater and find out just what it takes for a boy to become a man.

Bill Bowers is a highly acclaimed performer who has been seen throughout the United Sates, Europe and Asia. Metropolitan area audiences should not miss a chance to see his current show. Produced by the American Theatre Group, Beyond Words will be performed at UC PAC's Hamilton Stage Thursday, 4/16 through Sunday 4/19.
