The Actors Shakespeare Company, the professional theatre in residence at the historic Snyder Academy in Elizabeth, New Jersey will present a staged reading of Anne Nelson's acclaimed play THE GUYS on Friday, September 8 at 7:30pm and Saturday, September 9 at 3pm.

Focusing on the aftermath of September 11, THE GUYS tells the story of Joan, an editor, who agrees to help Nick, a FDNY captain, prepare the eulogies of his fire-fighters killed in the World Trade Center.

Directed by Jennifer America, THE GUYS features ASC veterans Michael Hajek and Lindsay Nance.

The reading is free to the public. Donations will be collected to help aid the Houston Fire Department.
