This stunning production of Romeo & Juliet is inspired by 16th century morality plays, but designed specifically with the 21st century audience in mind. Wandering players transform an Elizabethan marketplace into a playing space with a chalk circle and the audience’s imagination. This stunning production captures the youthful passion and ultimate tragedy of Shakespeare’s best-loved story. Romeo & Juliet was nominated for Outstanding Performance in the Theatre for Young Audiences Division at the Dora Mavor Moore Awards in 2007.
