Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson Apt. 2B at Community Players of Concord

The second offering of the Community Players of Concord’s 98th season is a clever and darkly comedic mystery, loosely based on the legendary tales of Sherlock Holmes.  Written by Kate Hamill, the renowned author of the Player’s 2024 version of Pride and Prejudice, this fast-paced, modern romp re-examines the world’s most famous detective story with a bold new feminist lens.  In this highly theatrical, small-cast escapade, oddball female roommates Holmes and Joan Watson join forces to emerge from a pandemic fog as a deeply codependent, quasi-dysfunctional Odd Couple adventure duo – solving mysteries and kicking butts, until they come face to face with a villain who seems to have all the answers.  The show will be directed by Vicky Sandin (Pride and Prejudice).  The talented cast includes Suzanne Watts as Sherlock Holmes, Julia Kehr as Dr. Watson and Travis Laughlin as Inspector Lestrade and others.

 Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson Apt. 2B will be performed Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, February 15 at 2:00pm at Concord City Auditorium, 2 Prince Street, Concord, NH. 

Tickets for adults are $22, $20 for juniors/seniors and $18 when purchased as part of a 2 or 3 show subscription.  Tickets may be purchased online at communityplayersofconcord.org.

The theatre box office is open 90 minutes before each performance.  Subscriptions may be ordered online or by downloading the mail-in order form on the website.
