You are invited to a premiere staged reading of a one man play about Charles Dickens. The play, written by The Park's own Steve Jackson, is adapted from Dickens chronicle of his trip to America in 1842 when Dickens was 30 years old (American Notes for General Circulation). His tour begins in Boston and swings around New England and the northeast, some points only an hour from Jaffrey. Dickens' keen eyes on a young America are as relevant today as they were when he made the voyage over from London.
Stars Adam Sowers, an accomplished actor, lighting designer and staff member of The Park Theatre working our lighting and projection.
Directed by Lisa Bostnar, NY stage, screen and film actor. Lisa is a frequent contributor of her talent to the theatre and volunteers as well.
