The Capitol Center for the Arts explodes with laughter from DOKTOR KABOOM! an interactive science-comedy show for all ages. DOKTOR KABOOM! creatively blends theatre arts with the wonders of scientific exploration to keep his crowds riveted with interest and rolling with laughter. Join Kaboom! for a sidesplitting journey of increasingly spectacular (and often successful) science experiments. This second show in the popular Showtime Sundays series comes to the Capitol Center for the Arts for two performances on Sunday, February 9, at 1pm and 4pm.

Doktor Kaboom! is the creation of actor/comedian David Epley. Epley has been fortunate enough to discover two passions in his life. Science, his first, took him to studies at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. His second, performing, became his career, and for 20 years Epley has made his living writing, performing, and directing original interactive comedy across the US and Canada. For the first time, Epley brings his passions together for his exciting new solo show; a science-comedy extravaganza with an explosive style that refuses to allow audiences the time to catch a breath. Epley lives with his family in Yellow Springs where he also volunteers as an EMT and firefighter with his local Fire/Rescue department.

Striving to remind audiences of all ages that the foundations of scientific discovery can be joyful tools for a lifetime, Doktor Kaboom! highly interactive comic performances encourages children to express their awe of scientific demonstrations; to creatively explore the world around them, and to realize that science and mathematics are meant to be fun. He takes his audience on an amazing educational tour of the modern scientific method, using humor and comedy while demonstrating spectacular applications of the physical sciences.

A guaranteed sidesplitting journey of increasingly spectacular and often successful experiments and demonstrations is what awaits the audience during Doktor Kaboom's show. Doktor Kaboom! keeps his crowds riveted with interest and rolling with laughter.
