Since Caro Emerald in 2009 broke through with the hit 'Back It Up', this is Amsterdam's gone clean for the wind. And we express ourselves more economical off. 'A Night Like This "became a worldwide hit. Debut album 'Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor "went six times platinum in the Netherlands. And also outside the Netherlands debut hit like a bomb, as in Poland (3x platinum), Germany (platinum), United Kingdom (platinum) and Switzerland (gold). The catchy mix of ballroom jazz, mambo, tango and sultry pop covers also the second album, The Shocking Miss Emerald 'to.
Thus Miss Emerald has become a superstar. She is touring throughout Europe and appearances on Dutch soil are scarce. We are also quite happy that we are one of only three club shows may present! If we take the last show in 013 as a gauge, this promises again tonight to be a spectacular performance.
