TPAC Cancels Remaining Signature Series of Concerts
The Tennessee Performing Arts Center announced the cancellation of the two remaining concerts in the new Signature Series, Luciana Souza with fellow Brazilian jazz artist Romero Lubambo, March 11, and Chris Brubeck's Triple Play with Peter "Madcat" Ruth and Joel Brown, April 6. Customers have been issued full refunds.
"The Signature Series was a bold, new direction for TPAC," said Kathleen O'Brien, TPAC's president and chief executive officer. "Due to the initial market response we now are reevaluating the future of the series. We remain committed to presenting a diverse blend of art to Nashville to develop new audiences while giving our long-term patrons opportunities to expand their horizons and try something new. We will continue to explore a variety of genres for future presentations."
Signature Series customers who want to contact TPAC may do so online at www.tpac.org, at the TPAC Box Office downtown, or by phone at 615-782-4040.
