Minneapolis Musical Theatre returns to LUSH Lounge & Theater this fall with HEAD OVER HEELS– a bold, glittering, and gloriously irreverent celebration of love, set to the electrifying music of the iconic 1980s all-female rock band the Go-Go’s. Inspired by a 16th-century English poem, and featuring a book by Jeff Whitty adapted by James Magruder, this wildly entertaining romp follows a royal family on a madcap quest to save their kingdom from extinction — only to discover that the key to its survival lies within their own hearts. Bursting with hits like “We Got the Beat” and “Vacation,” this joyfully unrestrained production celebrates love in all its forms and delivers the irresistible message that “Heaven is a Place on Earth.”
