Welcome to the 1960s where Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has a big desire to dance on the popular local TV dance program, “The Corny Collins Show.”
Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. Can larger-than-life adolescent manage to vanquish the program’s reigning princess, integrate the television show, and find true love (singing and dancing all the while) without mussing her hair?
