The holiday event Minnesotans wait for all year is back—and this time, it’s bigger, bolder, and bursting with new energy. Christmas Together with Steven C & Friends returns for its ninth year, igniting the Cathedral of Saint Paul with spellbinding artistry of local composer, pianist, and recording artist Steven C, along with the unmistakable brilliance of Grammy award–winning guitarist and songwriter Pat Donohue.

A Musical Experience Like No Other

World-renowned pianist and multi-platinum recording artist Steven C Anderson returns with his treasured 9-foot Bösendorfer concert grand—affectionately known as Bosy—whose resonant bass sound and haunting sustain combine with the Cathedral's 8-second reverb for a sonic signature that is uniquely Steven C’s. New this year is a Cinematic Christmas Medley featuring hits from your favorite Christmas movies as you’ve never heard them done before!

Joining Steven C on stage are Pat Donohue—Grammy-winning guitarist known for his long-running role on A Prairie Home Companion, vocalists Jack Cassidy, Jillian Anderson, and Kathryn Budzien, with Nathan Wilson on violin and mandolin, Ben Osterhouse on cello, and internationally-celebrated organist Chris Ganza, who is once again set to pair the power of the Great Cathedral Pipe Organ paired with Steven C’s Bösendorfer for a breathtaking musical dialogue. The Cathedral St. Cecilia Children’s Choir will participate in both evening performances.

And, as always, expect the unexpected — costume changes, holiday mischief, and a few magical twists along the way.
