Wisconsin Classic Stage presents Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen, translated by Brian Johnston and Rick Davis, in a site-specific production set in the Calvary Presbyterian Church Parking Lot in Milwaukee. Directed by Josh Pohja, the production reimagines Ibsen's most controversial play by drawing parallels between the moral and familial decay in the text and the modern fentanyl crisis. The cast features Deborah Stencel as Mrs. Alving, Ben Skwierawski as Osvald Alving, Cole Castine as Pastor Manders, Ryan Holifield as Engstrand, and Ashley Garcia as Regina. Each performance is strictly limited to 30 seats, creating an intimate and immersive theatrical experience ending at sunset.
