Street Scenes Presents TOPDOG/UNDERDOG
Street Scenes presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning Topdog/Underdog by Suzan-Lori Parks. It will open at the new Chapel Theatre in Milwaukie on November 9th and it will run through December 1st.
The story of sibling rivalry is told with African-American brothers that grapple in a turbulent relationship punctuated with dark humor.
Their names, ironically, are Lincoln and Booth.
Each brother loves the other, but each wants to be on top. The play explores themes of family dynamics in a compelling fashion.
Co-directed by Bobby Bermea and Jamie M. Rea and featuring LaTevin Alexander Ellis as Lincoln and Curtis Hella Maxey as Booth, this production will be a fascinating evening of theater. This show has adult content and is not recommended for children.
