Detroit Mercy Theatre Company presents acclaimed playwright Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice, an emotionally powerful contemporary reimagining of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Told through Eurydice’s eyes, the play explores her emotional journey as she navigates the boundary between life and a dreamlike underworld world where love, memory, and loss intertwine. With inventive staging and poetic dialogue, this production’s whimsical yet haunting tone creates a theatrical experience that is not to be missed!
CONTENT WARNING: Please be advised this play contains discussions/depictions of death, grief, bereavement, and loss of a loved one.
EURYDICE is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
