Midland Symphony Orchestra and Windows On Our World to Open Single Tickets
Guest artists Matthew Vera and Gabriel Martins join a lineup spanning Celtic, Korean and Guinean music traditions.
Midland Center for the Arts will open single ticket sales for the remaining performances in its 2026/27 Midland Symphony Orchestra and Windows On Our World seasons on Friday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m., inviting audiences to experience powerful symphonic masterworks, world-class guest artists and performances that connect cultures through music, movement and storytelling.
The 2026/27 Midland Symphony Orchestra season brings together classical masterworks, cinematic storytelling and acclaimed guest artists. Highlights include h2 quartet joining the Orchestra for Philip Glass' Saxophone Quartet Concerto in GALLERY OF SOUND; guest violinist Matthew Vera leading Vivaldi's FOUR SEASONS; the return of HOLIDAY POPS with the Midland Center Chorale and Broadway guest artist Dez Duron; a live screening of OCEAN with Steven Price's Academy Award-winning score; and a season finale pairing Brahms' Symphony No. 4 with Dvořák's Cello Concerto, featuring Sphinx Competition-winning cellist Gabriel Martins.
The Windows On Our World season brings four internationally acclaimed performances to Midland, beginning with the intercultural musical duo CELLOGAYAGEUM. The season continues with TARTAN TERRORS: CELTIC CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR, the breathtaking acrobatics and live Guinean music of CIRQUE KALABANTE, and the remarkable sound of Norway's all-female TENTHING BRASS ENSEMBLE.

Single tickets for the remaining Midland Symphony Orchestra and Windows On Our World performances go on sale Friday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets for Holiday Pops and Tartan Terrors: Celtic Christmas Spectacular are on sale now.
