Paris Ballet and Dance has announced its 2022-2023 calendar of performances. The thrilling season will feature a variety of dazzling dance shows, including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and so much more.
The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will celebrate the joyous holiday season with five different concerts, shows and special presentations:
Special pre-season pricing for Ballet Palm Beach's 2021-2022 season of dance will be available from August 20 to September 9, 2021.
The productions include a debut production of Peter Pan & Tinker Bell on Thursday through Sunday, October 14 - 17, 2021 in the Rinker Playhouse, The Nutcracker performed in the grand 2,195-seat Dreyfoos Hall on Saturday, and Sunday, December 4 and 5, 2021, and Giselle in the Rinker Playhouse on Friday through Sunday, March 4 - 6, 2022.
Ballet Palm Beach has announced that all three of this year's performances will be produced at The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts with all health and safety protocols in place. 'We are more than thrilled to be able to bring in-person performances back in this unique period.' says Founding Artistic and Executive Director Colleen Smith.
Palm Beach Symphony and CBS12 News will broadcast a special holiday concert filled with sounds of the season airing on Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. and Christmas day at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The CW34 will simulcast the concert on Christmas morning and repeat the special on December 26 at 6 p.m.
Palm Beach Symphony has announced that Ballet Palm Beach Founder and Artistic Director Colleen Smith has been awarded the 2020 Randolph A. Frank Prize for the Performing Arts and will receive the entire prize amount of $10,000. The award ceremony will stream live to the public beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 at https://www.palmbeachsymphony.org/frank-prize.
Colleen Smith, Artistic Director of Ballet Palm Beach today announced that the county's professional ballet company will present favorite holiday classic, The Nutcracker, at two venues this season.
The Tony nominated musical WAITRESS, which opens March 5 - 10 has cast two young area actresses to take on the role of "Lulu" during the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts engagement.
