SAA (not that one) By Miami Playwright Luis Roberto Herrera

Miami, FL — True Mirage Theater, Miami’s award-winning company committed to amplifying local voices, is proud to announce the world premiere of SAA (not that one) — an eclectic new play written by Miami’s very own Luis Roberto Herrera. This otherworldly play will run June 20th thru the 29th at True Mirage Theater, with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $30 and available now.

Directed by True Mirage’s Artistic Director Daniel Gil, this premiere features a powerhouse cast of fresh and seasoned local talent: Nestor Santana, Anna Russell, Cameron Holder, Mariantonia Mejia, Raquel Lebish, Marla Lopez, and Daniel Gil. SAA (not that one) is also Assistant Directed by Darcy Hernandez-Gil, and Stage Managed by Brenda Duran.

Vito, a newcomer in an alien abduction support group, starts to doubt his reality when he’s the only one that notices its members start disappearing.

Selected from the 2020 Minority Report Play Readings, SAA (not that one) is the latest in a series of new works championed by True Mirage Theater — a company dedicated to cultivating bold, contemporary voices from within Miami’s diverse communities.
