'The Wonderful World of Conundrum Stages, Vol. 1: Lights Up!'
SOUTH FLORIDA'S GOT TALENT!
Year-old organization presents first ever showcase featuring local seasoned performers.
Conundrum Stages is stepping up its plan to expand programming by collaborating with local artists and arts groups giving the Southeast Florida audiences a night of variety and entertainment.
The Wonderful World of Conundrum Stages, Vol. 1: Lights Up! is a live compilation spotlighting seasoned talent in different mediums of performance. It also introduces an organization whose mission is to enlighten audiences by promoting resident talent in an effort to strengthen camaraderie in the performing arts, therefore reaching out to all communities in Southeast Florida.
Conundrum welcomes from the dance world, soloist Afua Hall and ensembles including the Dancerity Performance Company and hip-hop crew, No Turning Back.
Providing the spoken word will be performances by Summer Hill Seven, Alexis Caputo and The Chaos Theory.
On the music side, local singers John Lariviere, Crystal Renae, and Kristen Dawn McCorkell will be contributing a mix of genres while violinist Erin David will be providing live instrumentation.
To tickle our funny bone, stand-up comedy will be provided by Daleena Segui.
From the Theatre World, actors Don Crinklaw, Elizabeth Perry, and Kirsten Upchurch will perform scenes and monologues. For your Musical theatre pleasure, the cast from Florida International University's production of Reefer Madness will give us a number.

All in an effort to introduce Conundrum Stages as a conduit to the Southeast Florida region supporting the arts and entertainment.
The Wonderful World of Conundrum Stages, Vol. 1: Lights Up! will be presented at the Collins Community Center on Saturday, September 26th, 2009, beginning at 7:30pm.
