Sands Storybook Theater's ALADDIN Plays Thru 7/12

The Sands Theater Center presents its Storybook Theater Company performance of ALADDIN. A well known and loved favorite, ALADDIN is a magical story that is sure to be enjoyed by all ages. Discover all the grandeur, mystery, and excitement of "The Arabian Nights" favorite in this delightful dramatization of the saga about the boy who found a Magic Lamp, and was befriended by a powerful Genie.

ALADDIN is a tale from Arabian Nights adapted by William Glennon, directed by Darlene Stewart. Plays July 9 and 10 at 7:30pm and July 11 and 12 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children. Please call 386-736-7456.

Produced with the family audience in mind, Storybook Theater is a series of live events performed by children for children.

Storybook Theater Company (at the Sands Theater) is at 600 N. Woodland Blvd, Deland, FL 32720. Storybook Theater incorporates Youth Theater, school tours, spring and summer drama camps and theater education for all ages. Storybook educators design and conduct creative drama projects, often in partnerships with area schools, community resource agencies and other arts organizations. School touring shows, performed by professional actors, reach over 20,000 children in grades K-8 at over 34 area schools each year.
