By: BWW News Desk Dec. 23, 2010
Launching a nationwide tour this November, Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise is a groundbreaking musical event that blends classical music with classic rock and breathes new life into George Fredrick Handel's most performed oratorio. Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise will premiere in Orange, Tex. and play cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and Cleveland.
Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise features stunning visual effects, thrilling songs, an orchestra, rock band, adult and children's choirs and some of the most powerful voices in stage and screen - including some from each individual tour city! Handel's Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise National Tour is looking for a local choir in each tour market to star in the show! The tour is asking choirs nationwide, ‘How Do You Hallelujah?' Choir groups can submit their videos to be voted on and judged for a chance to star in the show while it's in their hometown!
