Merman, 'Hair,' New McNally Play-Rising Action Theatre

Rising Action Theatre announces the opening of its very own 100 seat theatrical venue at 840 E. Oakland Park Blvd, Oakland Park, Fl 33334 on Sept 21, 2007 with the Florida Premiere of Some Men – directed by Tony Nominated Broadway Director Michael Leeds (Swinging On a Star). Their season is outlined below. The performance schedule for all shows is Thurs, Fri, Sat at 8 pm and Sun at 3 pm. Tickets can be purchased on their website at www.risingactiontheatre.com . A new play with music. Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally (Love, Valor, Compassion) highlights the moments when guests, gathered together at a gay wedding ceremony, found true love in their own lives and celebrates the century of change that has brought them to this point.
