Equal parts rock concert, global music performance and one-of-a-kind spectacular theatrical concert, The Manganiyar Seduction creates a rapturous union between the traditional music of the Manganiyars (a caste of singers and instrumentalists from Rajasthan in northern India) and the visual seduction of Amsterdam's red light district. This veritable feast for the senses, conceived by Indian director Roysten Abel, begins quietly with a solitary desert fiddle and builds to an ecstatic eruption of sound, light and color, as 38 musicians from the Manganiyar community take you into and beyond their world.
