HELLO, DOLLY! Presented By Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre

By: Jul. 21, 2011

If you take a stroll through the Galleria Mall on a hot summer evening and make it all the way to the northeast corner, the music you hear will have you humming along. That's because an impressive cast of seventy are busy rehearsing numbers for Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre's upcoming production of "Hello, Dolly!"

Director Sean Cutler, who is also the producing director of FLCT, says everyone's hard work has paid off and he is thrilled with the quality of this production. "The choreography, the music and the outstanding talent make this a show you won't want to miss!"

So, before the parade passes by, put on your Sunday clothes and head out to the lights of 14th street and the Harmonia Gardens Restaurant as matchmaker and meddler Dolly Levi contrives a plan to convince Horace Vandergelder, the well-known Yonkers half-a-millionaire, to marry her.

It only takes a moment to fall in love all over again with Jerry Herman's Broadway masterpiece. HELLO, DOLLY! is an ebullient and irresistible story of the joy of living, glittering with happy songs, shining with loving scenes, and alive with the personality of one of the most fabulous characters on the musical stage..Dolly Gallagher Levi. Featuring FLCT's own Janet Erlick as Dolly!
