The Connecticut School of Broadcasting, the largest group of "hands-on, learn-by-doing" broadcast media schools, is now offering training in five areas - audio/video production, sports broadcasting, television, new media, and radio/podcasting - from its new campus at 9050 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines.

Centrally situated between the entertainment centers of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and easier to get to than its previous location in Doral, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting is currently accepting students for the next flight of classes beginning at the end of March.

"At Connecticut School of Broadcasting, we offer an accelerated, real-world training experience - only eight weeks for day classes, 16-weeks for evening classes - taught by industry professionals who come from their studios to ours," says the school's founder and broadcasting legend Dick Robinson. "We always say 'Train in months, not years;' that's why our tag line is, 'Reinventing Training in Broadcast Media!'"

Anyone seeking a career in broadcasting, the media, marketing, advertising, politics or the arts will need definite skills that CSB can provide. For example, content creation is critical these days, particularly as more people turn first to their smartphones for information.

The Connecticut School of Broadcasting trains students how to shoot video, edit it, upload it, do voice-overs and write compelling content that can attract viewers, generate online hits, and increase employment viability in an industry that is increasingly competitive and technologically demanding. After all, it's not just radio anymore.

With 11 campuses along the East Coast from Massachusetts to the Miami area, thousands of CSB graduates now have successful careers in digital media, TV, Radio, Sports and other hot-growth media companies, without having to spend long years in dusty lectures halls or racking up decades of student loan debt. In addition to Pembroke Pines there are 2 other campuses in Florida: North Palm Beach and Tampa.

If anyone has ever dreamed of a career in the broadcast media, whether on-air or off, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting could be his or her first step to transform a dream into a rewarding career. All they have to do is participate in a CSB Studio Tour. Sign-up today at www.gocsb.com/request-info.
