Alliance Theatre Lab 2007-8 Season Announced
The ALLIANCE THEATRE Lab is proud to announce their 2007/2008 theatrical season. This season The Alliance will continue to bring South Florida the cutting edge, raw, and emotionally provocative theatre we have all come to expect from this talented ensemble of theatre artists.
The Season will open with the original angry young man, John Osborne's Look Back in Anger. This play made history when it opened in England in 1956, and ushered in a new form of theatre. Following this timeless classic is the hilarious Hellcab by Will Kern. Hellcab was originally produced at the Alliance when ATL was in its infancy and now makes its return to cheer up the holiday season. In 2008 ATL will present Lobby Hero a South Florida premiere by Kenneth Lonergan author of You Can Count on Me and This is Our Youth. The 2007/2008 season will close with Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize winning Buried Child. A hard hitting, dramatic look at an American family that promises to engage and challenge theatre goers.
