Lo que permanece is an artistic project that explores the complex theme of migration and its impact on individual memory and geographic identity. Featuring the work of photographer Mónica Lozano, multidisciplinary artist Mabel Weber, curatorial artist Siddhartha Joag, academic Adriana Álvarez, and musician Julio Morales, the exhibition uses various mediums like photography, illustration, video, and poetry to tell intimate stories of refugees and displaced individuals at the U.S.-Mexico border. This collaborative effort aims to foster dialogue and understanding around the experiences of those crossing the border.
