The Memphis Black Arts Alliance FireHouse Community Arts Center's popular Last Sunday Jazz-A-F!RE Ensemble and BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) returns to perform again, Sunday June 29, 2014.

Starting at 3 pm you will enjoy the blues-based Memphis jazz stylings of vocalist Naomi Williams Moody, pianist Stephen Lee, bass guitarist Kent Suggs, drummer James "Bishop" Sexton and vocalist-guitarist Lance Thompson, with invited BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) guest performers.

Following that set and to celebrate the diversity of Jazz and its heritage, you have tthree hours to enjoy a legendary Cotton Club -style Jazz Dance Party. Big Band music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, JJimmie Lunceford, Glenn Miller, Dave Bruebeck with Swing, BeBop Soul, and Blues and the Latin Sounds of Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria, Cal Tjader and many more will be featured.

. Food and beverages will be available to make this a most memorable summer evening benefiting the Memphis Black Arts Alliance, Inc.
