Is it art? What is an installation, a monochrome, a work in situ, how a simple mound of earth earns its status as a work of art, how a simple object of everyday consumer could be a work of art must almost a century now? For answers, we need historical landmarks.
Mudam Academy has the ambition to recall how, nearly a hundred years after the birth of abstract art, it is time to
battle with prejudice. In ten sessions, there will be no other purpose than to understand contemporary art by challenges, movements, artists and works of the last century ... want to give out to explore the artists of today ' hui.
