Comedian Bill Cosby has received countless awards and honors, including a Kennedy Center Honors Award (1998), the Presidential Medal of Freedom (2002), and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor (2009). 

Cosby has had an unparalleled career in television (I Spy, Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids, The Cosby Show); has sold more record albums than any other comedian; his blockbuster books (Fatherhood, Time Flies…) have sold millions of copies, and his generous support of numerous charities have endowed Americans with the gift of hope and learning.
