Events at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall and The Kentucky Center highlight summer lineup.
Kentucky Performing Arts has announced a series of upcoming performances in Louisville, including concerts by Baby Keem and Babyface Ray with 42 Dugg, as well as a MeX Project presentation of THE STORY OF TEZ: TEZ VS. TEZ OF 2DEEP.
Baby Keem will bring THE CA$INO TOUR to Old Forester’s Paristown Hall on June 12 at 8:30 p.m. The artist’s debut album The Melodic Blue debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and his single “family ties” featuring Kendrick Lamar earned a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance.
Babyface Ray and 42 Dugg will follow with their 4 THE STREETS TOUR stop at the same venue on July 19 at 8:00 p.m. The Detroit-based artists are known for their collaborations and contributions to contemporary hip-hop.
Both concerts will offer VIP packages, including early entry, exclusive merchandise, and meet-and-greet opportunities for select ticket holders. Performances are general admission and open to all ages, with accessible seating and assistive listening services available.
As part of the ArtsReach MeX Project, THE STORY OF TEZ: TEZ VS. TEZ OF 2DEEP will be presented at The Kentucky Center in the Boyd Martin Experimental (MeX) Theater. Performances are scheduled for May 16 and 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The production blends R&B and hip-hop performance with autobiographical storytelling, exploring personal growth, adversity, and identity. The work is presented through ArtsReach, an initiative focused on supporting community artists and expanding access to performance opportunities.
A related event, the Black Boy Joy Panel, will take place May 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the MeX Theater and is free and open to the public.
