Laurie Sefton Creates presents her newest work: How We Wear Our Art, a multi-disciplinary performance work that explores the ultimate power of art within the intersection of body tattooing, live music, fashion, film, visual art/sculpture and dance. Created, Directed and Choregraphy by Laurie Sefton Created with collaborators, Bryan Curt Kostors (music composition), Andy Bright (visual art/sculpture), Reiley Johnson (tattoo artist), Michael Higgins (animator/filmmaker) and Sophie Isabella Popham (fashion designer).
Ms. Sefton delves into the meanings and symbolism we hold, show and share in and on our bodies and seeks to highlight the sensory experiences and expression of art through sight, touch, sound, and movement, as well as a range of experiences and expressions in relation to our bodies.
