“Like watching an Off-Broadway show or a Netflix series” -Sam Labrecque, SamSkape Productions Inc.
Dinosaurs takes Hollywood Fringe once again! The Nightmare Lizards are bringing their award-winning production Dinosaurs to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August, with one final run at the Hollywood Fringe beforehand to fine-tune the show.
Our company is proud to partner with the Joyful Heart Foundation in support of their important work helping survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. As part of this collaboration, we are raising funds to both support their mission and to help make our journey to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe possible. “DINOSAURS ACHIEVES THE SEEMINGLY IMPOSSIBLE” -Steve Biodrowski, Hollywood Gothic
Show Description: Claire comes home one day to an unexpected guest: A real-life dinosaur rummaging through her apartment. After retracing her steps, Claire and her best friend Hayden conclude the dinosaur is a strange manifestation of unresolved trauma Claire carries. For fear that the very fabric of space and time could collapse at any moment, their quick solution is to confront her abuser, and somehow, what they discover in the process is even more unexpected than a spontaneously appearing dinosaur.
Content Warnings: Discussions of sexual assault, sexual assault of a minor, suicide, substance abuse, and use of a prop weapon.
