Photo Coverage: Upright Cabaret's 'LIKE A VIRGIN' kicks off 2nd Season at La Mirada Theatre
On Sunday, Nov 7, 2010 - After five sold out shows last season, Chris Isaacson presented the 2nd season kick-off concert of the Upright Cabaret's American Icon Series at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Entitled "Like A Virgin," the show starred 2009 Olivier Award-winner Lesli Margherita singing the music of Madonna, Disney's Phineas and Ferb star Laura Dickinson sang the music of George Michael and John Lennon Song Writing Competition-winner Matt Cusson who sang the music of George Michael. The concert featured the songs like "Like A Prayer," Stephen Sondheim's "Sooner or Later," "Careless Whisper", "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," and "True Colors."
