This spring, EPIC Players Los Angeles - Los Angeles' first neuro-inclusive theater company - debuts its first full-scale Los Angeles mainstage production, Peter and the Starcatcher, at the Odyssey Theatre.
This story reimagines the origins of Peter Pan, following a lonely orphan, a brilliant young Starcatcher-in-training, and a band of unlikely heroes on a high-stakes journey across land and sea. Along the way, they encounter pirates, discover the power of friendship, and unlock the magic that will shape a legend.
Filled with humor, theatrical ingenuity, and unforgettable characters, Peter and the Starcatcher celebrates courage, imagination, and the transformative power of belonging-brought to life by EPIC's dynamic, neurodiverse ensemble.
The cast includes: Bowe Avery, Verity Van Dams, Beau Zinman, Nikolay Sharp, Phineas Wilder, Atticus Baldwin, Devin Morrissey, George Steeves, Brett Morris, Dovia Charles, Jack Lea, Bella Areffi, Garrett Lees, Harry Schantz, Kait Phelan, Nayeli Benitez, Marcus Sciarra, Ana Sharp, and Cadence Jeng.
"This production marks an exciting new chapter for EPIC as we work to elevate the voices of Neurodivergent, Disabled and Autistic artists in Los Angeles," said Jessica Saul, Regional Director of EPIC Players LA. "Peter and the Starcatcher is a story about possibility, about how even the most unexpected individuals can shape extraordinary futures. That message deeply reflects our community and the artists we champion every day."
Performances will take place at the Odyssey Theatre located at 2055 South Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA on May 14 at 7:30 PM; May 15 at 7:30 PM; May 16 at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM; and May 17 at 2:00 PM. The production runs approximately two hours, including intermission. Tickets can be purchased at the Odyssey Theatre website.
