Chance Theater to Present 24HR CHANCE-A-THON, 5/25-26
Chance Theater today announced their first-ever, 24 hours of non-stop theatre, music, magic, and tap-dance -- 24HR CHANCE-A-THON -- as a benefit. 24HR CHANCE-A-THON will begin on Friday, May 25 at 7pm and continue for "twenty-four-non-stop" hours through Saturday, May 26 at 7pm at Chance Theater, 5552 E. La Palma Ave. in Anaheim Hills.
The 24HR CHANCE-A-THON is a new kind of fundraiser, featuring 24 hours of live entertainment from a variety of acts, culminating in a special Insiders After Party! Think of it like a walkathon where you can leave your running shoes at home (and even wear your pajamas if you want!). And just like walkathons, patrons can support the theater by getting pledges for sitting through one leg (8 hours) of the marathon. Don't think you have the stamina? Audiences can also help by buying tickets to see some of the shows or pledge to support our marathoners. During these tough economic times, the Chance has found an innovative way for a large number of patrons to help with minimum donations and effort. Together, we can keep art alive and thriving in the OC...and have some fun in the process!
