About the Inductees

Ritchie Blackmore

From his pop roots with The Outlaws and his many session recordings in
the sixties, through defining hard rock with Deep Purple and
Rainbow in the seventies and eighties, to the renaissance rock of
Blackmore’s Night, legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore has proven that he is a master of the guitar across a multitude of styles.

Candice Night

Although she's provided back-up vocals for such major bands as Deep Purple, Rainbow, William Shatner, and Twang (the Hank Marvin Tribute album), Candice Night's success was anything but overnight. In 1997, the talented lyricist and lead singer of Blackmore's Night completed a musical project with legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore titled Shadow of the Moon. The album features acoustic renaissance music, a direction she thoroughly enjoyed. "This music is feel good, soul searching music," says Candice. "Listening to it makes me appreciate the beauty in simple things that most of us overlook every day. It has a magical effect. Listening to it always takes me on a different journey somewhere else, away from the stress of the modern day. Being a part in creating such music is a reward in itself.” Since then, she has been featured on numerous CDs including: HelloweenAvantasia, Beto Vázquez Infinity, and Aina, and she has received numerous awards worldwide. Her presence even extends into the virtual realm of MagiQuest appearing as both Princess Amora and Princess Candice.

About Sea Glass

“Sea Glass” is Candice Night’s latest solo album released via earMusic on April 25th, 2025. Inspired by a lifetime of challenging musical adventures as well as the magic and demands of everyday life and family, Candice has crafted an album that observes life through a prism - looking through a kaleidoscope of sea glass colors with their own special glow. Much like an alchemist, she melds together her various influences and experiences to create music that is contemporary yet eternal. The album was “Album of the Week” for the esteemed Rolling Stone in France and topped the singer/songwriter Amazon charts in multiple territories.

About Blackmore’s Night

Blackmore's Night, the minstrel rock band founded by legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and ethereal singer and multi-instrumentalist Candice Night began in 1997 as a labor of love and an escape from the pressures of the modern-day world. They formed their own musical world, creating a new genre of music. Weaving together melodies from the Renaissance times with modern day instrumentation, original arrangements, and new lyrical content, Blackmore and Night have achieved many awards, critical acclaim and gold records worldwide, consistently topping the Billboard New Age charts. Together with their 7-piece touring band, they perform in castles and historical venues worldwide. Thousands of fans show up to the shows dressed in period garb to be a part of the musical festivities. They record in their home studio, here on Long Island, and have gained the love and loyalty of millions of fans over the past 28 years. They live on the North Shore of the island and use the natural beauty of Long Island as an inspiration for their songs. With 11 albums recorded, DVDs, and anniversary editions, Blackmore's Night shows no sign of slowing down. They're currently recording their newest album and are on tour.
