Minstrel Players to Host 4th Annual One Act Festival This Month
The Minstrel Players are very excited that in just a few short weeks it will be time for their fourth annual original play festival "Back to the Zone" featuring seven original scenes with a twist in the style of Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone." Performances of "Back to the Zone" will be over three weekends on Saturday, October 24 and November 7 at 8 P.M and 3 P.M. matinee performances on Sunday, October 25, November 1, and November 8 at Houghton Hall - Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village.
This festival has something for everybody. Please come down and support the production of plays by local and national authors. Since each play features a special "Twilight Zone" twist, it makes it the perfect event for the Halloween season.
The Minstrel Players are committed to bringing high quality, affordable theater to the Long Island Region. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for Seniors and Children under 12. Group tickets are available for parties of 10+. For more information please call (516)557-1207 or visit the Minstrel Player's official website at www.minstrelplayers.org.
