Bay Street's Car or Cash Raffle Winner Announced

Bay Street Theatre has announced the winner of its biggest raffle of the season. Denise D'Angelo from Baiting Hollow, New York was the winner with her choice of a 2012 Mini Cooper Convertible or $18,000 in cash. D'Angelo chose the car. The Mini Cooper was provided by BMW Southampton.

The drawing took place at Bay Street's ROCK THE DOCK Summer Benefit Bash on July 21. D'Angelo was not present to win but was thrilled to get the call. "When Bay Street called it was like winning on The Wheel of Fortune," says D'Angelo.

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Bay Street Theatre's educational programs such as internships offered every summer to college students and recent college graduates.

"We're looking forward to what we can offer next year," says Tracy Mitchell, Executive Director. "It was a lot of fun and people loved the chance of winning plus supporting Bay Street at the same time."
