The Royal Theatre will stage Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, a tale that explores the power of imagination through the trials of a gifted young girl. With a vibrant score by Tim Minchin and a book by Dennis Kelly, the performance follows Matilda as she navigates a life with her neglectful parents and a tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. The cast features Spencer Forga and Callie Crow alternating as Matilda, alongside Jenna Thaxton as Miss Honey and Justin Pike as Miss Trunchbull. Performances are scheduled from September 5 to September 15, 2024.
