Talk Show at SST Studio Theatre

A darkly comic family drama where three generations of lonely men struggle to communicate, confront their disappointments, and find connection in lives that seem to be going nowhere. Set in an economically depressed town in North East England, the play follows Sam, a young man hosting a daily internet talk show from his basement, whose fragile household is disrupted when a missing uncle unexpectedly returns. The production features Augustin Ballesteros, Timothy Cummings, Austin Parrales, Ryan Ruckman and Wilam Tarris, and is directed by Jake Staley and Breon Jenay. Each performance is followed by The Buzz, a moderated discussion of the play's themes with the cast and production staff.
