Super Summer Theatre in Vegas to Present 'Superstar'

The 2007 Super Summer Theatre begins performances of Jesus Christ Superstar on Wednesday, August 8.  One of the first rock operas ever created, Jesus Christ Superstar tells the story of Christ's final days, dramatized with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatrics.  Propelled by a stirring score, this musical illuminates the transcendent power of the human spirit with a passion that goes straight to the heart. Jesus Christ Superstar is produced by P.S. Productions.
 
Jesus Christ Superstar is the third of four musicals that will light up Spring Mountain Ranch during the summer season.  Nestled at the base of the Spring Mountains, Spring Mountain Ranch and Super Summer Theatre invite theatergoers to sit back, relax and enjoy the show.  Spring Mountain Ranch is located only 10 miles west of 215 on Charleston Boulevard.
 
Opening night is Wednesday, Aug 8th with performances scheduled every Wednesday – Saturday through Aug 25.  Gates open at 6 pm, and the show starts at 8 pm.  Throw down a blanket or bring/rent a chair, have a picnic dinner or indulge in something from the concession stand and enjoy the outdoors before settling in under the stars for an outstanding performance of Super Summer Theatre.
