'Hats!' Hits Harrah's Las Vegas on January 12, 2008

Sibling Entertainment Group Holdings, Inc. announced the critically acclaimed musical Hats! opens at Harrah's Las Vegas on January 12, 2008.

This witty stage show chronicles one woman's anxiety over her impending fiftieth birthday and how she chooses to embrace this landmark event with the support of her friends. "Hats! features seven dynamic and compelling women whose unique approach to celebrating life appeals to audiences of all ages. The show centers around Maryanne and the wild cast of characters who accompany her on her journey toward her 50th birthday. The zany and unpredictable Ruby introduces Maryanne to the outrageous Contessa Confessa; to the bold and spirited Duchess DeLovely; to the fast talking, corporate executive Baroness; to the multi- talented Dame who can provide 'tech support' to anyone 24/7; and finally to Maryanne's mother, Lady, who is filled with optimism and enthusiasm for her daughter."

Hats! features a score of original songs by three-time Tony Award-winner Doug Besterman, Tony-nominated lyricist Susan Birkenhead, Tony-nominated composer-lyrist Carol Hall, Tony-nominated composer and three- time Academy Award nominee Henry Krieger,  Grammy Award-winners Melissa Manchester and Pam Tillis, Golden Globe-winner Amanda McBroom as well as Kathie Lee Gifford, Michele Brourman, Pat Bunch, Gretchen Cryer, Anthony Dodge, Sharon Vaughn, Beth Falcone, David Friedman, David Goldsmith and Stephen Lawrence.

Hats! premiered in Denver in October 2006, opened in January 2007, at Harrah's New Orleans Casino Hotel and premiered in Chicago at the Royal George Theatre on April 29, 2007, to rave reviews.

Hats! is inspired by the fun-loving lifestyle encouraged by the Red Hat Society. According to founder Sue Ellen Cooper, the Red Hat Society (RHS) is a worldwide organization with over 30,000 chapters in all 50 states plus 25 countries offering fun, community and empowerment for passionate, likeminded women who believe in the joys of sisterhood at any age.
