OUTSIDE MULLINGAR
By John Patrick Shanley
From the Academy Award-winning writer of Moonstruck and Doubt comes Outside Mullingar, a charming and funny romantic comedy set in the misty heart of rural Ireland. Often described as an Irish Moonstruck, Outside Mullingar tells the story of Anthony and Rosemary, two eccentric, middle-aged neighbors who have spent their lives overlooking the love right in front of them. Between a brewing family feud over land and Anthony’s painful shyness, it will take a leap of faith—and a touch of Irish stubbornness—to bring these two misfits together. Lyrical, witty, and deeply moving, this 2014 Tony Award nominee is a poetic reminder that it is never too late to take a chance on love.
