2121, a new play from KC Melting Pot Artistic Director, Harvey Williams captures the rhythm of a city still struggling with the aftershocks of the subprime lending crisis of America’s banks in 2008. This riveting play explores the residual effects of a national financial crisis on Main Street. 2121 chronicles how an underserved community grapples with class dynamics in a broken economy where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Ages: Appropriate for ages 12 and above
