"We are proud to once again sponsor this event which draws thousands of attendees to the city of Overland Park," Brett C. Mitchell, general manager for OPCC, said. "We want to honor the men and women who serve and sacrifice for our community by focusing our charitable efforts on Toys for Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program. Touch-a-Truck not only educates, but provides attendees the opportunity to make an impact on the community through donations to Toys for Tots."

A traditional salute by the local Marine color guard will take place before doors open.

Last year, the event drew over 4,500 attendees. Area companies can get involved by donating a company truck for the day. To become a sponsor or to support Touch-a-Truck, please contact the Overland Park Convention Center at 913.339.3000 or info@opconventioncenter.com.
